56. Worsley New Hall
Salford / Communities and Regeneration
About the project
We have won a competitive process to attract the Royal Horticultural Society to develop their ambitious 5th Garden at Worsley Salford on 156 acres south of Leigh Road. This prestigious development will operate a retail plant centre, restore historic walled gardens, lakes and restore and modernise the terraced gardens originally designed by Nesfield in 1846 for Lord Egerton 1st Earl of Ellesmere.
The first phase of the RHS 5th Garden is anticipated to be open to the public in 2019.
